  Port Elizabeth now known as Gqeberha The city of Port Elizabeth is changing its name to Gqeberha. The decision was officially approved on Tuesday by South African Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa.  The new name was submitted by Boy Lamani of KwaMagxaki, who said that Gqeberha was IsiXhosa named for Walmer Township, one of the first and oldest Port Elizabeth townships. It is not just the name of the city that is being renamed but also the airport; The Port Elizabeth International Airport will be changed to Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport. Last year, the minister, Nathi Mthethwa recommended an audit of offensive names, symbol and structures, like street names, public places, statues etc. He said that it was unacceptable that South Africa's Black majority population is still cultural minority when it comes to apartheid and colonial symbols still dominating the landscape.   The prophetess.  The woman allegedly lures and kills the children in her church for rituals in Onitsha, Anambra state. Several unconscious children were found in her house at 3-3 axis of Onitsha. The information gathered shows that she maltreated those kids and wouldn't allow them to leave the room for any reason. They pooed and urinated in a bucket inside the room and sometimes they were left to die of hunger and still be beaten on empty stomach! The policemen acted on a tip off and got her with few of her workers arrested though it was not certain whom she worked with at the moment. Greyhound South Africa, one of the leading intercity transport company is shutting down. The company which has been in the business for 37 years, announced that they are closing  down due to lack of funds. Greyhound shutting down due to lack of funds. Greyhound buses will be permanently shut down and will stop transporting passengers starting from 14th of February 2021. The company was already in financial crisis before the pandemic-related travel restrictions which is the final straw that made it easier for the company to truly take a stand on their business closure!
