Lufuno grabbed the pupil who was assaulting her in an attempt to block the blows saying, "You are hurting me.

Where she was been slapped repeatedly!

She was laid to rest today (Saturday) in Nzhelele, Limpopo, South Africa. Her memorial service was held on Friday (yesterday) at the secondary school, Mbilwi Secondary School in Limpopo. The family said they want justice for their late daughter and sister.

Meanwhile, Mavhunga's family called on parents to help different schools to stop this incident of bullying. Lufuno's brother, Kenneth Mavhunga said, parents had important role to play in the fight against bullying; "There was someone's child that was assaulting my sister. I do believe that child comes from a certain family and there are parents in that family. So, that is why I'm bringing it back to you as the families that maybe it is high time we need to understand our children and make sure that we are very much involved in raising them."

Lufuno last respect in the school before been laid to rest.

Police spokesperson Brig Motlafela Mojapelo said the incident allegedly took place on Monday around 11:30 am and was reported to the police on Wednesday. The police said, they arrested a 15 year old pupil on Wednesday over the assault. "The arrested child will be dealt with in accordance with the Child Justice Act" Mojapelo said.

Police spokesperson said that an inquest docket had been opened into Lufuno's death, and the police investigation is ongoing. The case is already in court and the bully made her first appearance in the Thohoyandou Children's Magistrate court yesterday but it was postponed to next week Tuesday.

Sadly, she was assaulted because she blocked her bully on Facebook and Whatsapp and the reason for blocking her was because of constant insults and threats on there!

May her soul respect in peace.
