420-Friendly And the Meaning

 420 in United States of America, is an abbreviation of 20th of April, considered to be a special day for smoking or celebrating the smoking of cannabis; marijuana (weed).

The origin of 420

It can as well be written like 4/20, 4:20 or 420. It is an unofficial national annual celebration on 20th of April where any kind of smokes are been celebrated.

The history has it that in 1970s, a group of teens in San Rafael, California,United States of America used 420 as a code to remind their peers about their after school smoking session. They used the code "420 Louis" meaning at 4:20 they would meet by the Louis Pasteur statue outside the high school and get high.

The code 4:20 to them means that they would stay back and smoke, which indicates the time for the smoking session after school hours. Now 4:20 is the international weed smoking time.

On the other hand, it was stated that there are more than four hundred (400) chemical compounds in a cannabis plant, but no one ever clearly stated that the number is 420.

When you come across "420-friendly" boldly written somewhere in a restaurant, it means that smoking of marijuana is allowed. In ads it means that the poster smokes cannabis and if you are a smoker of cannabis/marijuana/weed then it might be an advantage.

A lot of people thought that 420 was named after the day Bob Marley died. Some even linked it to Adolf Hitler but none of these were true. Some still insist that 20th of April is the best day to plant marijuana.

It all started from those teens back in 70s before it is been adopted by the international smokers community and believe me it has come to stay.

DAX is a Nigerian Canadian rapper. His real name is Daniel Nwosu JR. I believe this guy is just too good with lyrics and always have a message to pass across.  DAX  DAX has never disappoints. I first heard about him last year 2021 from a friend.
