Trigger-Happy Policeman Killed a Lagos Lawyer on Christmas Day.
Bolanle Raheem Bolanle Raheem who until her death, was a Nigerian lawyer based in Lagos and she was also a member of Nigerian Bar association (NBA). On Sunday, the 25th of December, the day Christians all over the world celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ was also the same day Bolanle Raheem, who was also a Christian, was shot dead by Nigerian police whom supposed to protect the lives and properties of its citizen! The news had it that Bolanle; the wife of Gbenga Raheem, was shot dead by yet to be identify police officer while she was trying to do a U-turn under Ajah Bridge in Lagos. She was driving with her family; her kids and sister, when the shot was fired at their car after the police tried to stop them and the bullet hit her, unfortunately she was pronounced death at the hospital.
