Ada Jesus tendered apology.

Mercy (Cynthia) Mmeso Ginikachukwu popularly known as ADA JESUS tendered an apology to those she insulted on social media. I learnt that she said a lie against a popular prophet in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje and his staunch follower, a Nollywood star; Mrs. Rita Edochie, and dared a native doctor Ofiafuluagu, of Chimarine Temple, to do his worst.

It is no longer just a rumor that her family took her to the native doctor shrine, Chimarine temple in Asaba first with all the requirements the native doctor asked them to come with, to be able to undo all he did, for her quick recovery. The native doctor who claimed that she is suffering because of what he did in his shrine out of anger, did not just promised to do everything possible for her to regain her sound health but kept on saying that she came too late in case if anything happens to her, then all he did would be for her family not to suffer because of her sins. He actually gave Ada Jesus the sum of N100,000 and told her family that she should buy medication with it and wish her quick recovery.

Ada Jesus needs to be forgiven

 

On the other hand, Prophet Chukwuemeka, told her and her family when they went to his church to ask for forgiveness too,  that he won't forgive her until she provides the people that came to his church for fake miracles which Ada claimed to have been the one that bargained with them to come for the fake miracles and testimonies.  The sick lady looked very sick but the man of God found it too hard to forgive.

Moreover, Rita Edochie who previously refused to forgive Ada when she was brought to the church has finally went to her Instagram page last night to announce that Ada Jesus has been forgiven. That is a good news. Anyways, many of her followers insulted her for taken her time to forgive but they forgot that we all can not act the same. Sometimes it is not easy to forgive though.

To err is human, to forgive is divine. I will not say that Odumeje did wrong for not forgiven her but as a Christian i thought he would have considered her health and for the sake of the family members present, forgiven her at least at this critical period she looks very sick! What if the girl dies tomorrow, God forbid, would he still be happy?! A simple i have forgiven you, go and sin no mare would have made him a real christian. Winning souls for God should not just be done by preaching and telling people about the kingdom of God but by simply showing love with a forgiving spirit even with those that might wanted to kill you or pull your name down!

Nevertheless, the sick lady in question went too far just in the name of getting more likes and getting more followers on social media. Yes, she should not have done that but there is an Igbo adage that says "beat a child with your right hand and console him/her with the left hand" that alone would make the child to know that you love him/her but only beat him/her because of the wrongs he/she did.
